THE ALBANY

The refurbishment of the Albany in Deptford, Southeast London is the result of the Art of Regeneration programme which aims to effect fundamental, sustainable community development.

The programme will be completed over four years and in the first stages Spark has designed a corporate image and typeface, a signage system fully accessible for people with impaired vision or who have learning difficulties and as part of the signage an original set of icons.

On the right is the new Albany logo which works horizontally or vertically.

Fruit icons, raised icons used for directions to community rooms with Braille text. The rooms are all also numbered – the icons are used to enable people with learning difficulties.
